Return & Refund Policy
Last revised: 2 March 2026
We sell workmanship and the materials that go with it, so “returns” work differently here than in a shop. This page sets out, plainly, when money comes back to you and how quickly.
1. Cancelling a Booking
An inspection appointment can be cancelled or moved free of charge at any time before the technician sets off. For confirmed works, cancellation at least 48 hours before the start date incurs no charge. Later cancellations may incur costs we can no longer avoid — typically cut-to-size materials or a crew day that cannot be refilled — and we itemise anything we deduct.
2. Deposits
Deposits fund material orders. If you cancel before materials are ordered, the deposit is refunded in full. After ordering, we refund the deposit minus the cost of non-returnable items; standard stock we can return to our suppliers is refunded once the supplier accepts it back, usually within fourteen days.
3. Unused Materials
Full, unopened units of standard materials left over at the end of a job (whole tile boxes, unopened fittings) are credited on the final invoice if they were charged to you. Cut pipe, mixed compounds, opened membrane rolls and special-order items cannot be returned.
4. If the Work Is Not Right
Tell us within seven days of handover and we will reinspect without charge. Where the fault is ours, your remedies in order are: rectification at our cost, a price reduction if you prefer to keep the result as-is, or a refund of the affected portion where rectification is impracticable. Warranty periods (see Terms & Conditions) extend well beyond these seven days — this section is about first-response, not your only window.
5. Defective Products We Supplied
Fittings and appliances we supply carry their manufacturer's warranty, and the warranty cards are handed to you at completion. If a supplied product fails within its warranty, we handle the manufacturer claim and the swap-out labour for the first year at no cost to you.
6. How Refunds Are Paid
Refunds go back by the method you paid — bank transfer or DuitNow within seven working days of agreement, cash refunds by transfer unless agreed otherwise. You receive a credit note stating the amount and reason.
7. What This Policy Does Not Limit
Nothing here reduces your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other Malaysian law that cannot be contracted out of.
8. Talk to Us First
Most refund questions get resolved in one phone call. +6012-634 8271 or [email protected] — ask for the person who quoted your job.
