This policy explains how Chirobase Plumbing & Roofing Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", "the Company") handles personal data collected through chirobase.pro. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

When you submit the site visit form, call us, or write to us, we may receive your name, phone number, email address, property address and the description of the works you need. If you browse the site, standard technical records (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be logged by our hosting provider for security and capacity purposes.

2. Why We Collect It

• To respond to your enquiry and schedule inspections or works.
• To prepare quotations, invoices and warranty records that the law and good practice require us to keep.
• To contact you about work in progress, follow-up visits or warranty matters.
• To meet obligations under Malaysian law, including tax and company record-keeping rules.

We do not use your data for automated marketing, we do not send newsletters unless you ask for updates, and we never sell or rent personal data to anyone.

3. Who Sees Your Data

Access is limited to the small team that schedules and performs the work. Where a job involves a building management office (for example, condominium permit applications), we share only what the management requires to approve the works. Service providers that host our website or store our records are bound to safeguard any data they process on our behalf.

4. How Long We Keep It

Enquiry details that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Records connected to completed works — quotations, invoices, warranty terms and job photographs — are retained for seven years to honour warranties and satisfy statutory record-keeping requirements, after which they are destroyed.

5. Your Rights Under the PDPA

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to further processing. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to perform outstanding work or honour a warranty, and we will explain the consequences before acting.

6. Security

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Job records are kept on access-controlled systems. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we limit both the volume of data we keep and the number of people who can reach it.
